The Covenant

The Covenant was formed by a group of anti-racist & anti-bias community organizers focused on ending gun violence and supporting well-being in Black communities and families globally.  

The Covenant came together through years of organizing, both on an individual and organizational basis, with the goal to unify our collective understanding and vision of what it means to be a true community who stands together and cares for one another. Our definition of community has a foundation in healthy families, both chosen and genetic, and is experienced as a feeling of fellowship with others as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals… and our goal is safety, harmony, and peace for all.
